Luvin Old Friends

Sometimes friends and come and go. That's the ebb and flow of life.
But I always love it when friends come back together again and we have a great time.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but I'd rather be together than apart. . .

We had some friends visit and stay with us this past weekend. It has been YEARS since we last saw them or hung out with them. And in the last few years, we have had sporadic contact as well. However, when we were together again, it was still the same, comfortable friendships that we had a few years before.

When that happens, it is true testament to the strength of a friendship.
The "core" of each person is the same, so no matter what has happened, where you live or what you're doing that's different, the "core" remains and so does the bond.

Here's to great friendships and re-uniting!

LuvinSPUD and LuvinLIFE

Luvinspud means I love the "spud."
Potatoes that is, in any form, shape and size. . . . mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, french fries, homefries, potato pancakes, gnocci, potato salad, potatoe chips and of course the tater tot!

Luvinlife means life is "rich."
There is so much out there that is good and right in the world.
And without sounding hokey, I just want to say that we wake up each day with the world being "right." Our attitude and our mindset is what changes this "right-ness" and "rich-ness" to something that ain't Luvinlife. . .

For me, it's simple, give me a little spud and I'm definitely LuvinLIFE!
